After noon depends on your time of arrival visit at “Abbey Falls” - one of the most amazing attractions in the Coorg and the picturesque view of the falls is breathtaking. “Raja’s seat” - is a seasonal garden of flowers and fountains. Post visit return back to Resort and overnight.
Morning after breakfast proceeding for a full day sightseeing tour of Coorg. Visiting places of interest such “Dubbare Elephant Camp” - This camp has plenty of elephants which are trained under naturalists. A trained Naturalist is at hand to explain the various aspects of Elephant history, ecology and biology. The visitor can not only observe and learn but also participate in various activities involving Elephants. Thereafter will visit “Omkareshwara temple” - dedicated to God Shiva, it is one of the 12 revered Jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva. “Madikkeri fort & museum” - a historical landmark of Coorg. The fort was constructed in the later part of the 17th century by Muddu Raja, the then king of Coorg. Then visit at Namdroling Monastry Bylakuppe” [Golden Temple]– one of the largest teaching center of the Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Buddhism in the world. [Visit at monastery subject to permission] Later in the evening return to hotel for overnight stay.
Check out from hotel after breakfast and drive to Wayanad – a famous north Kerala destination set lofty on the majestic Western Ghats with altitudes ranging from 700 to 2100 Meters above sea level. The etymology of the word Wayanad is Vayal (paddy) Naad (land) making the name as “Land of Paddy Fields” check at Resort and proceed to visit at ‘Edakkal Caves’ - a cleft about 96 ft long and 22 ft wide in the rock, contains interesting carvings, which represent human and animal figures and objects of human use and symbols. These carvings speak of a highly-civilized people of pre-historic age. Then will move to Soochipara Waterfalls - also known as Sentinel water falls; it is one of the largest water falls of this area or Kanthanpara Waterfalls Than back to Resort and overnight stay
Breakfast at residing hotel and proceeding for sightseeing tour. Visiting places of interest such as, Banasura sagar Dam – the largest earthen dam in India. Pookot Lake – beautiful natural fresh water lake. In the afternoon visiting at Lakkadi View Point- ‘Gateway of Wayanad’, which is a famous picnic spot in Wayanad, offering a bird eye view of the lush green surroundings. Also Lakkadi View Point is known for its Nine Hairpin Curves which offers a splendid view of the Mountains in Wayanad. Thereafter will proceed to Wayanad Heritage Museum its also known as Ambalavayal Heritage Museum is a museum at Wayanad. This Museum displays tribal relics and artifacts. There are Four sectors of the museum—the Veerasmruthi, the Gothrasmruthi, the Devasmruthi, and the Jeevanasmruthi—house different types of items ranging from the New Stone Age to the 17th century. Check out from hotel after breakfast and drive to Ooty- A hill station in the state of Tamil Nadu, South India. Check in to Resort and after refreshment depends on time will explore Ooty. Will take you to Botanical Garden, the Doddabetta peak, the Rose Garden, Wax Museum, Ooty Lake, etc. Botanical garden - spread over a huge area of 22 hectares and with more than 650 species of flowers and trees is a horticulturist’s delight. The highlight of this garden is a fossil tree believed to be 20 million years old, and then visit The Doddabetta peak - at an altitude of 8606 feet is the highest point of South India. It provides stunning views of this hilly region. The Rose Garden - located in the prime part of Ooty, spread across 10acres of land, is one of the largest gardens of its kind in India. The Wax museum in Ooty is also an interesting spot to visit. Wind up your day at the Ooty Lake where you can indulge in many activities like Boating, Cycling around the lake, Joy ride on Horse etc. (On direct payment basis). There after back to Resort and overnight stay.
Morning after the breakfast proceeding to visit the another part of Ooty called Coonoor, on the Toy Train (Ticket subject to availability) for a short and beautiful ride; ride time approx. 1.15Hrs). Upon reaching Coonoor, our chauffeur will pick you from the railway station and continuing the day with sightseeing at Coonoor. Thereafter will visit at Sim’s park – yet another beautiful botanical garden which is home to a variety of unusual species of plants from different parts of the world. Lamb’s rock – gives you a spectacular view of the lush forest and the beautiful hills side, thus making this place an excellent picnic spot too. The Dolphin’s Nose – is another stunning viewpoint which is more than 1000 feet above sea level. The name is derived due the unique rock formation of the peak resembling a dolphin’s nose. Post visits in Coonoor, return back to Resort and overnight stay.
