Will take you to Botanical Garden, the Doddabetta peak, the Rose Garden, Wax Museum, Ooty Lake, etc. Botanical garden - spread over a huge area of 22 hectares and with more than 650 species of flowers and trees is a horticulturist’s delight. The highlight of this garden is a fossil tree believed to be 20 million years old, and then visit The Doddabetta peak - at an altitude of 8606 feet is the highest point of South India. It provides stunning views of this hilly region. The Rose Garden - located in the prime part of Ooty, spread across 10acres of land, is one of the largest gardens of its kind in India. The Wax museum in Ooty is also an interesting spot to visit. Morning by 06.00 Am visiting “Muthanga wild life sanctuary” – one of the most famous wild life sanctuaries of Kerala. A jeep drive arranged by forest department takes you to visit this famous sanctuary. The park houses a great elephant population of this region. The park is spread over 345 sq km in area which is rich in fauna and flora, and comes under the Project Elephant. Various species of deer, monkeys, birds etc. too are found in the Muthanga Wild Life Sanctury. The trees and plants in the sanctuary are typical of the south Indian moist deciduous forests and west coast semi evergreen forests. Returning to hotel after the visits there after breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Bangalore Airport / Railway station to catch your flight / train back home.
