Morning by 06.00 Am visiting “Muthanga wild life sanctuary” – one of the most famous wild life sanctuaries of Kerala. A jeep drive arranged by forest department takes you to visit this famous sanctuary. The park houses a great elephant population of this region. The park is spread over 345 sq km in area which is rich in fauna and flora, and comes under the Project Elephant. Various species of deer, monkeys, birds etc. too are found in the Muthanga Wild Life Sanctury. The trees and plants in the sanctuary are typical of the south Indian moist deciduous forests and west coast semi evergreen forests. Returning to hotel after the visits there after breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Calicut Airport / Railway station to catch your flight / train back home.
